Hi,

I did a fix on the Gaphor master branch. I don't know how to check it on a Mac using X11, so can you have a look, please? Now it should show okay for a class (that is: only the class name for a start ;) )

Hi,

Hi,

I just downloaded Gaphor and it does what I want.
But there is one drawback: When I type text in a right to left
language like Persian or Arabic, it screws the text up and displays it
in reverse.

Ouch.

Is there anyway to solve this problem?

I have not thought about that one. Possibly Cairo contains some solution for dealing with RTL languages.

We quit using pangocairo, since it seemed overhead. Only now it would come in handy, since Cairo's text api is not that powerful.

I think I have to fix some bits of code to get it working.

Thanks for pointing out.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Arjan

Hi,

I updated all text rendering on the diagram to use Pango. To be
honest, it looks better ;). Only I have no clue to test right-to-left
text. So if you can check that that would be really nice. I can send a
developer build to the PyPI if you like that more that cloning a Git
repo.

Hi,
Thanks for the update.
I cloned the git repository, and tested it. It works perfectly.
It has no problem with the right-to-left texts now.
Thanks again for the update.
