Hello.

Please, I would like to know if there is any way to make elements,
such as decision/merge and fork/join, appear horizontally.

They should appear in that way by default, since it is the most used
orientation.
In fact partitions/swimlanes requires vertical (top to bottom) flows,
and specially fork/join should be represented perpendicular to the
flow.

(I'm actually using gaphor 0.16.0)

Currently those element to not have a "switch orientation" option. I wonder how we missed it :p

Anyway. I'll add it for the next release.

I'll take this into account. Thanks for pointing out.

Actually, I had a plan to implement horizontal swimlanes and allow
to mix them with vertical ones like specified in UML.

Of course, vertical fork/join is needed as well!

that's very cool :) !
I know that UML specs are so rich and detailed and that a whole
support of them requires time.
But when I use gaphor I have a lot of fun in designing things.

Hi,

I added support for rotating the join node item. You can find it in the editor (ctrl-e).

I decided not to make it horizontal by default, since that might ruin other people's diagrams. Working around that is not worth the effort I think.

You can find it GitHub, or wait for the next release, it should be soon.

Arjan

Sure, I agree.

Thank you very much.
