DJ Music Mixer es una aplicacin con la que podremos mezclar msica de una forma cmoda y sencilla desde el PC, estando especialmente enfocado a la elaboracin de sesiones en tiempo real a partir de las canciones que tenemos almacenadas localmente en nuestro equipo.
Cuenta con dos platos virtuales en los que podremos cargar las canciones y una consola central para realizar las mezclas, as como una serie de funciones bsicas con las que poder trabajar. El programa dispone de un ecualizador con el que podremos controlar graves, medios y agudos, as como otras tantas opciones para realizar bucles, modificar el cue o incluso realizar transiciones automticas y asistidas entre ambas pistas.
El programa tiene tambin una pestaa de efectos con las que podremos aplicar efectos en tiempo real, pudiendo elegir entre un gran abanico de estos. Adems, DJ Music Mixer incluye una prctica herramienta con la que extraer audio de archivos y otra herramienta para ripear CDs de audio.

El comportamiento de VAC es similar a la funcin Stereo Mix implementada en algunos adaptadores de audio (tarjetas) de hardware. Pero solo es similar, no equivalente. Si lo que necesitas es una funcin idntica al Stereo Mix en Windows Vista/7/8/10, podra ser mejor intentar habilitarla en tu adaptador de audio.
VAC crea un conjunto de dispositivos de audio virtuales . Cada dispositivo simula un adaptador de audio (tarjeta) cuya salida est conectada internamente a la entrada, haciendo un loopback. Estos dispositivos virtuales se denominan Cables virtuales . El trmino Cable virtual se usa solo en la descripcin de VAC, como marcador de posicin. Los nombres reales de dispositivos / terminales que ver en las ventanas de las aplicaciones son diferentes (por ejemplo, Lnea 1, Lnea 2, etc.).
Cada lado de cualquier cable virtual puede ser utilizado por varias aplicaciones al mismo tiempo. Los sonidos dirigidos al mismo punto final de reproduccin se mezclan. Desde el punto final de la grabacin, cada aplicacin obtiene su propia copia del sonido.
