Prof. Sussman,

We wanted to arrange a meeting with you later this week. We spent the entire day together yesterday grinding through our assumptions and calculations. We found a mistake in one of our financial assumptions and our recommendation has changed to "No". It is significantly different. We need to double check our NPV method with you, but we are getting negative numbers in the hundreds of thousands.

We are doing secondary research on the medical device industry in Brazil and we are finding great synergy between regulations. There is quite a bit of importing by Brazil and an official regulation document between the 2 countries getting them together on standards and requirements.

We are going to be writitng the plan and the slides to suggest a focused approach on medical device in Brazil and suggest they monitor the US market. We are giving operational and marketing suggestions should they choose to ignore our recommendation. Our plan ended up a little on the rough side since we had to revamp, but hopefully we can get you something by the end of the week to review.

We usually have quite a bit of back and forth on our timing. I think Thursday or Friday night would be a good target. Frank is out of town on work, but hopefully we can make this work.

We settled on Friady night at 9 PM. Does that time work for you?

I wanted to run our proposed agenda by you. We want to talk about content and flow for the pitch, but understand that we need to come up with something that we feel tells the story. Our intention is to work through the week and come up with something. We propose the following for our Friday meeting:

1. Review how we are doing our NPV calculation. Lilibeth can get something ready or preferably send you something in advance so you can have time to review it.

2. Run through a draft of our 2nd dry run pitch. We are going to incorporate feedback from everyone and would like to get your reaction on our completed version.

3. Discuss our recommendation and specifically how we feel research in the global medical device, and Brazil's position in the market, point to them benefiting from product development for medical device companies. We know you are not giving us advice on this, we would just like to share what we are learning and what we feel is the right direction for JExperts so you are up to speed on what we are recommending.
