Dear Fellows,
My apologies that is has taken me so long to follow up regarding your participation in the June 25th and July 9th sessions. Here is the participation we are anticipating.
June 25th: Student Launch
Arianne, Ashley and Brad have indicated they are unavailable. We
are assuming that everyone else will be in attendance for the most of the
afternoon and early evening reception.
AM GAP Fellows Presentation to the Class
Location: Kaufman Hall
Start Time: 9:50am
Presenters: Baldeep Sadhal & Julie Brensike
Afternoon Parallel Sessions: 2:30 – 3:30pm
1.GAP Fellows Panel
Location: C315
Participants: Keith, Julia Lin, Sachiko, Krishna, Robert and Joe
Description: Staff and faculty are not allowed in this session so I can’t give you much insight but I would suggest that you don’t need to go too primary research heavy since they’ll have another panel with you on this topic on July 9th.
2.Collaboration and Communication Capabilities w/Aura Lippincott and Manuel Burgos
Location: C301
Description: This session is an overview of the various software programs the school has available for student use (LiveMeeting, Sharepoint, Qualtrics etc.). We would like to have 1 or 2 Fellows sit-in on this session to offer suggestions as to how their team successfully utilized these or other similar software programs. Paul, Alex and Margaret stated team roles seem to lend themselves best to participation in this session but if they are not available I would love to take a volunteer off the Fellows Panel.
July 9th: Plenary Session: Primary Research Panel from 10:00am to 10:45pm
Location: Kaufman Hall
Participants: Stefan, Julie Brensike, Arianne and Julia Lin
Back-up: Sachiko
Description: Professor Foster will moderate this panel on primary research. We will send some preliminary questions for you to prepare for and then open up to audience Q & A.
Please let me know if I am missing anyone or if you have questions.
Kind regards,
Michelle
