GAP Fellow Update: 7/9 plenary, 7/5 email tips, Dropbox

Hi Fellows!

Once again, GREAT job to everyone who came out for the student launch, to the presenters and panelists! I think we're off to a good start and hopefully your teams are reaching out to you with specific questions.

A couple of updates:

1. 7/9 Primary Research Panel (10-10:45am) 

Looks like we've got the following people signed up for the panel.

Is anyone else available as a fourth? It would be great to get someone who hasn't participated yet so the students get to hear from as many different perspectives as possible.

2. 7/5 email tips - due 9am 7/5

There is a GAP office email going out Tuesday 7/5 announcing the 7/9 primary research plenary. FYI, there were no fellow tips in last year's email. But I'm thinking this might be a good opportunity to start advising them about Company Launch prep since the Company Launch email doesn't go out until a week prior to the Company Launch which is a little late in my opinion.

I've started some tips, but please add / modify with your wisdom. Please do so no later than 7/5 at 9am.

3. Dropbox Fellow folder

I've created a DB folder so we can share best practice documents with one another (e.g. Company launch presentations, primary research sample q'res, financial models, etc.) so we can leverage each other as resources as we work with our respective teams. Let me know if you don't get the invite or have issues accessing.

I'll drop in the files that have been shared via email already, and if you could start dropping files in there, that'd be great! I think this will help maximize our helpfulness to our teams.

Thanks Sachiko for setting up the dropbox!

I've created a file under "Dropbox\GAP Fellows\Primary Research"- Panel Discussion- Techniques on primary research.

 

Stefan, Brad, & Baldeep-  Since each of us were asked to prepare 5 tips to share on 7/9 at the Panel, thought it'll be a good idea to share them amongst each other ahead of time.  This will also help eliminate some duplicates/overlaps, it will be most beneficial to the students to get as many different techniques as possible. 

 

Fellows-  For those of you who won't be on the panel, but feel like they have some good tips to share, feel free to write them in.   We can incorporate them during the Panel discussion.
