How to add background color or image to module titles in the sidebars

Hi,
How to give module titles in the sidebar background colors or
background images? I have trying to edit style css and gantry css but
to no avail.

I assume you are talking about the gantry joomla plugin in which case
this is the wrong mailing list. This is for the gantry perl web
framework.
