jQuery LightBox plugin in VirtueMart

Hello,

In an online shop based in VirtueMart, since I installed Gantry, the product images are not opened in popup box as it was before. I suppose that some functions were overwritten by this installation. Now I’m trying to include this jQuery LightBox plugin, but it doesn’t work for me. I tried different applications – to include the code in the template index.php file, in the flypage template and etc. None of these worked.

Can anyone give me some advice how to make the product images popup – either with this plugin or without it?

Using:

• Joomla! 1.5.23
• VirtueMart 1.1.8
• Gantry 3.1.17

This isn't a simple plugin to implement, the instructions are difficult to understand, you might want to look at JCE & JCE media box - it's different but installs easily and its easy to use for lightboxes.  Be careful though, I think they are having issues with 2.5.6 so I am running it on 2.5.4 and another 1.5 site. I wont upgrade till I see the issues are settled because I use it a LOT.

Hello Anna,

Thanks for the advice, but unfortunatelly something is not working for me. I downloaded the JCE Media Box plugin and installed it, but there is no result. Am I missing something or what? I even tried what is described in this post:

There is a script conflict.  In vm config turn off load jquery
