Hi there
Just noticed this this morning. When I go to create a new Single
Article menu item on a site I am working on none of the pages style
sheets are loaded. Everything shows in long html list and nothing
works. This is the ONLY part of the admin that this happens. This only
started happening a short while ago... maybe when I upgraded from J1.7

The installation I am working on is Joomla 1.7.3 / Gantry v3.2.13

Anyone have any ideas why this is happening and how to fix it?

I forgot... here is a link. I've added a screen shot to my own site:

Thanks again.

Hi

I am a new member of this group and not a web developer but found a solution
to
The ongoing javascript issues I have using RT's Templates & extensions with
Other extensions.

I have had javascript conflicts with Tachylon, Jomsocial 2.24 and Joombah a
recruitment
system, affecting everything from layout, payments, registration and more.
As
I did not find any help from support at RT's forum I had to seek assistance
From elsewhere.

The conflicts created the same issue that Terry R. has advised. I did find a

Solution not sure if this will assist you too.

Once the site was almost set up, not requiring constant layout & menu
changes.
I copied mootools-1.25.js to gantry, keeping both copies and changing back
and forth
As I needed to make changes. I found this Corrected 99.9% of javacript
conflicts
with other components.

I have both javascript files stored in components/com_gantry/js/ and if I
need
To add a new menu or layout I change it back, by changing the name back.

Example.

I remove the joomla or gantry extension on mootools.js file name depending
on file
Being used. Only issue I have found is that when I use the joomla version I
cannot edit the
Template, but its easy to change the name to have editing ability and this
has
Corrected almost all of my javascript conficts one that created the same
issue
You have mentioned. I also had this if a user logged in to a deleted page,
or a
Wrong password, the system didn’t redirect to a 404 or alternative page. But
this
Did fix that problem.

components/com_gantry/js/mootools-1.25.js.joomla
components/com_gantry/js/mootools-1.25.js.gantry

components/com_gantry/js/mootools.js.joomla
components/com_gantry/js/mootools.js.gantry

Hope this helps.
Helen

Thanks for explaining this and at least its good to see that this issue has happened to someone else however the solution here does not work for me. Maybe it because I'm using J1.7.3 but in the gantry folder there is no js directory. Rather the js file is in the libraries/gantry/js folder. Hopefully I was in the right place to try this but as it stands this is still an issue for me.

Terrence,

I would recommending putting your site into Debug mode via the
configuration link in the administrator panel and reload the page.
This may assist you in diagnosing the problem. There should be no
issue with using Motools as it is a separate add-on completely and has
been in use by Joomla for quite awhile. I've had no issues with
Motools. However, I never used the pa_sygnet template so I'm not sure
if the problem may be with the template.
