Hi everybody

Last week I edited my gantry-custom.css to make my menu buttons without background and only with a border.
Now when I hover the menu the top border dissapears and the whole menu moves a bit to the right.
I can't seem to find the problem, can somebody help me out with this, please?

I also attached my gantry-custom.css

Regards,
David

Hello,
That's because you've removed the border from the menu links when in normal state, and when you hover it, it appears in blue color. So, in order not to move, you should put border in both cases, but it just needs to be the same color as the background (white) when links are in normal state.

Hope that helps.

Best regards,
Stoyan

Could I please ask you one more question?

I would like to have the mobile menu instead of the normal menu in a bigger screen size then only telephone size, for instance at 800px when a tablet is in portrait mode. I've been trying it with the mediaqueries but I can't seem to get it. There is one post about this but that didn';t work

Any ideas?

Regards,
David

Can you tell me which version of Gantry are you using, cause I haven't used it for some time and I need to check?

I think that's the way to achieve it - with the mediaqueries. Be sure to clear the cache in Joomla and Gantry template as well to see the results. Also, I don't know which post are you looking at, but see if this helps you: http://www.rockettheme.com/forum/gantry-for-joomla/201124-gantry-responsive-template-mobile-menu-in-different-position

Thanks for you reply, I was working this weekend a lot so sorry for my late reply, that post I also found but it's not really the answer.
I achieved to get the mobile menu at a different screen size but the normal menu also stays visible ;-) So at the desired 800px I get both menus and the logo is out of place.

I do understand what the mediaqueries I only get a part of what I want working ;-)

I just want my website to behave on a tablet the same as on a smartphone with small screen size

Regards,
David
