Is there a way to manually install gantry-framework directly into my webspace httpdocs via FTP? I have tried using the Extension Manager wizard several times and keep receiving errors. Please help?

1 opcion: descomprime el paquete dentro de la capeta tmp/gantry por ejemplo y luego instala desde el administrador escribiendo la ubicacion de la carpeta.
2 opcion: Tambien puedes subir a sus respectivas carpetas por ejemplo el componente en components/; los plugins en plugins/ y los archivos de libreria en libraries/ . luego te vas a administrador de extensiones una vez ahi en encontrar y te mostraran todo los dependientes de gantry listo para instalar

You can extract the Gantry-framework in [joomlaroot]/tmp and install it
from there.

You can extract the Gantry-framework in [joomlaroot]/tmp and install it from there.

This seems to be a problem with the permissions.
Please check the permission for your web server user on the directory in joomla-root.

I fixed the permissions problem but im now receiving this error:
- Copy failed
- JInstaller: :Install: Failed to copy file /usr/local/pem/vhosts/179205/webspace/httpdocs/sixmilebridgecamogie.com/tmp/install_50c63402dde96/lib_gantry/lib_gantry.xml to /usr/local/pem/vhosts/179205/webspace/httpdocs/sixmilebridgecamogie.com/administrator/manifests/libraries/lib_gantry.xml
- Library Install: Could not copy setup file
