Gantry button colors

Joomla 3.1.5 and Gantry 4.1.17 

Looking to change the button colors, not text but actual button colors. I can do this by choosing a preset, but I want to use a certain preset with a custom color button. Tried changing the link color but that does not work. I assume I need to override the css somewhere but not sure which file. Did read through the docs including http://www.gantry-framework.org/documentation/joomla/advanced/less_css.md ...just not sure what I need to change. Any help appreciated and thanks in advance.

Okay changing the link color did work. I had cleared out the cache/browsing history but it still doesn't take on the same browser. When I opened another browser the change is there.

Not sure where you ended up putting your code but putting it in Joomla root/templates/gantry/css/gantry-custom.css would be the proper place. You would create this file yourself and this is also assuming you are using the Grantry template. If using a different template then you'd replace the word gantry with the name of your template.

If the code shows on one browser it should show on others unless the css code you used is browser specific. Also try clearing that browsers cache but it sounds like you tried that. You might try clearing Gantry and the Less cache as well.
