Gantry loading slow or RokSprocket module code??

To all,

     I'm currently trying to figure out why a site i'm working on has a low load speed.  I really appreciate any and all replies as I'm stumped at this time.

At first I was thinking it was the image size/compression however after I looked closer it's shown that it's a possibly the code loading slow..

Anyone else have this similar issue?

Seems JS is the largest part of the load, and the images have more bytes... could it be the Java is harder to 'chew'??
