Dear Colleagues, Friends, and Families,
We need your support for Edwin ( Chungo ) Molina and Gregory Katsaros, who were unjustly fired from their jobs by A.S.R. Electrical Contacting, Inc. 207 Newton Road, Plainview, Citifield, the home of the New York Mets.
The firing is unfair labor practice and discrimination against people with physical impediments and disabilities, in violation of the Federal Americans with Disabilities Act: Greg Katsaros suffers from clinical depression. Edwin Molina is missing half of his right foot.
Unfair labor practices and discrimination in violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act were given by A.S.R. Electrical Contracting, Inc. and Ron Hasemann. This electrical company performs many federal, state and city wide government contracts, worth millions of dollars of our taxpayers' money. They will deprive us the ability to feed and shelter our families.
The Grievance Committee of IBEW Local # 3 has scheduled a hearing for February 4, 2008 at 4:30pm. In the past myself and others have experienced the biased decisions taken by IBEW Local # 3 Grievance Committee. We have been stripped of our medical,dental,and others benefits, in violation of the fourth amendment of the U.S. Constitution, which guarantees our right to due process. IBEW Local #3 must defend workers with legitimate issues that violate not only the working rules but our constitutional rights.
