The video is a point of view of going on a date with all 5 members of One Direction. The five dates take place in five different locations: a date with Zayn Malik at an Italian restaurant (which he apparently owns as he greets some cooks and introduces his date to a waiter), a drive with Louis Tomlinson in his vintage car, a night in playing Monopoly and Jenga with Niall Horan at his house next to a fireplace, ice skating with Harry Styles and at a carnival with Payne.[7]
On weeknights when controlled rock blasting is scheduled, crews will begin narrowing I-17 to a single lane in both directions at 7 p.m. and then fully close the highway after 10 p.m. Drivers should expect delays while crews set up traffic control, and use caution around construction personnel and equipment.
Motorists planning to travel on I-17 during the overnight hours should leave early or delay travel to avoid the closures entirely. Motorists who travel between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. should expect to be impacted by the closures on nights when blasting occurs. Safety is the number one priority when conducting controlled rock blasting operations. The roadway cannot be reopened until the operation is completed successfully and all debris is cleared from the roadway.
The I-17 flex lanes will operate as a separate, two-lane roadway carrying one direction of traffic at a time depending on the greatest need along the steep, winding eight miles between Black Canyon City and Sunset Point. For example, the flex lanes will be able to carry heavy northbound traffic on a Friday or heavy southbound traffic on a Sunday. Similarly, ADOT will be able to open the flex lanes to accommodate traffic any time if a crash or other incident causes long delays.
The two flex lanes will be next to, but physically separated from southbound I-17 using concrete barriers. Access to the flex-lane entrances will be controlled by gates. Overhead message signs will alert drivers to the open direction of the flex lanes. The flex lanes will be operational seven days a week.

I think its describing a boy and girl going out. The mother of the girl doesn't approve her outfit. The girl doesn't care and wants to go out and have a good time. The guy asks if shes ever thought about how fast their dates go by and how they are getting older. Although when she sleeps, her dreams go away when she wakes up; the boy reminds her that their relationship won't vanish when she wakes up. She has doubts, but he keeps reminding her that their love will never fade away as the night changes. Her mother is concerned that she will try to grow up to fast. He reassures her by saying their love will never change as the night changes.
I do not think that this is a romantic song. If fact, I do not think that "he" plays a significant role in the story. I think it's about a mother consoling her daughter after her first sexual encounter. The young girl (daughter) want's it to happen but she wants it to be right and without regrets . The "night" is a metaphor for how quickly we all grow up. Reference to her own lost innocence and her worry over her daughter's dress choice leads me to believe that the mother recognizes her daughter's intentions. We all have hopes and dreams about how we want our lives.... and the lives of our loved ones...to play out. We all want to be the narrator of our life story. I'm guessing that maybe the experience was not exactly what the young girl anticipated it to be.. or maybe it was but I do not think that's the point. I think the mother is assuring her daughter that while absolutely everything is changing their relationship will not falter.
This can be interpreted from the mother's perspective, the daughter and her getaway partner wasn't really there, she was just watching her past unfold, all her regrets, all her questions of how she got where she is at the moment, where went wrong, and what really is it for, what she's doing, all those hopes and promises she's watched and heard, "it'll never change me and you" but what happened, everything just faded and collapsed as she got older, not noticing the change, the absence of her naivety and innocence, not noticing anything until some one direction song pointed it out. Now she's trying to express her objection to that daughter, to her past self, the things you think you won't regret are probably the most you will. There's no such thing as "No Regrets." You just gotta live with whatever regret you're holding on, "We will never change" the moment you realise something that you haven't before you already have.
