Anyone using a stealth module? Is it worth the $600? Main reason I'm considering is the turbo lag. I've had 5 1500's before making the jump to a diesel and the turbo lag drives me nuts at bad intersections when I really wanna scoot across! Also, does the stealth module truly not leave any type of footprint??

A year or so ago I found a used one for my then 2014 Duramax. It had the selectable switch with it which is an option, so I was able to switch it off for stock, then try the low and hi settings. I was not impressed and have not even considered getting it for my 2020. Driving improvements were minimal. Fuel mileage per the DIC did increase but did not get better per my hand calcs. I took it off after a few months as I just kept thinking I have this snake oil box from a no-name company potentially damaging my what $20K (?) engine for very minor seat of the pants improvement.

I had one on my 16 Duramax woke the truck up no lag when stomping on pedal to pass someone pulled hard. As far as fuel mileage 17 to 19 after install 19 to 22. pulling our 38ft fifth wheel maybe a 2 mpg gain. Its not a tuner so you won't see the huge HP gains.

The stealth module is a very similar in function to a number of other in line tuners on the market for the L5P duramax engine. After reviewing a number of different modules and an ecm replacement option- I would not recommend the stealth as an option to my clients.

Do your own research and make your own informed decision. There are two viable inline tuning options on the market at this time(just my professional opinion) and one commercially available ECM tuning option.

Back to stock equipment failures and warranty issues... While many of those issues can and and will be handled under warranty, if GM chooses to dig deep enough, there is a very good likelihood that additional power can be seen.

Make your 1999-2003 Ford Powerstroke 7.3L diesel more efficient and fun to drive with our Ford Powerstroke 7.3L Stealth Module exclusively for Fords years 1999-2003. Your module will be a stand-alone computer that simply plugs in under the hood of your truck. It will not increase fuel volume, so there's no need for any other modifications. Make your truck work smarter, not harder! Get that extra boost in performance without any harmful side effects.

The module is a stand-alone computer that plugs in under the hood. The internal software meticulously works to optimize the injection pressure to amplify combustion efficiency. By bringing the fuel rail pressure to its desired pressure sooner, it allows for finer fuel atomization. In turn, elevating fuel-air mixture. This allows for better combustion quality, efficiency, and power output. The end result is more torque where you need it, less turbo lag across the whole RPM range, and increased throttle response. Keep in mind, your truck's stock safety parameters remain in place. The module is a safe solution for every day driving and hauling.

Why sacrifice peace of mind when looking for a little bump in performance? No endless modifications or flashes to your trucks computer. This is the easiest and safest way to give your truck improved performance. A cost-effective approach to wake your truck up starts here. Backed by a 1-year manufacturer warranty, includes 24/7 technical support, and superior customer service. Finally a high-quality, safe, and non-invasive performance solution your truck has been waiting for. See why thousands of diesel pickup owners are turning to Stealth.

My truck was still under warranty at the time and I wanted to keep it that way without having to drop serious funds on a delete kit. I tried contacting several other companies about aftermarket performance modules/tunes with little success and rather poor customer service until I got the chance to talk to Eric Madrid at Stealth Performance.

My wife, dog, and I do a fair amount of camping so the low- to mid-range power boost module provided just what I needed. I wasn't concerned with peak dyno numbers since this was a daily driven truck that gets used like a truck.

The installation process was a breeze. While taking my time and documenting my install it took around 20 minutes. The first initial driving experience was great. There was noticeably less dead pedal feeling for which diesels are notorious. The truck had an effortless feeling while driving and towing. There was less DEF usage over a long term in conjunction with fewer regenerations. Plus the big bonus was the two mpg bump in fuel economy.

Fast forward about a year or so to the Unlimited Off-Road Show at Texas motor speedway: While hanging out with Eric, Krista and Stella from Stealth, we got the chance to put my truck on a dynojet. The results were pretty significant and a surprise to many onlookers at the event.

My truck with 35-inch tall tires, 4x4 and a fifth gear pull netted an increase of 70 wheel horsepower and 160 wheel torque under the curve on the highest setting, and 50 wheel horsepower and 100 wheel torque on the medium setting.

From the smooth strong application of power, to the peace of mind knowing you don't have to worry about increased EGT's, boost and a damaged transmission, the Stealth Performance Module is a realistic performance solution making my truck overall more enjoyable to drive.
