Happy Holidays From the SF Building Trades Council

Season's greetings, brothers, sisters, and siblings. We're excited to share our yearly special holiday edition of Organized Labor, which is rolling off the presses and heading out to subscribers' mailboxes right now.

In this month's issue, we pick our affiliates' brains for a look back on the top projects of 2024 and their most anticipated projects of 2025. We also bring you the latest installment of our "On the Jobsite" photo feature, in which we check up on progress at Mission Bay School and capture images of the hardworking tradespeople who have been making it happen over the past few months.

As always, scroll down to read Rudy's column and check out one of this month's feature articles — an editorial on the importance of maintaining labor standards on affordable housing projects. You can access the entire December e-edition via the "Download..." button at the end of this email.

Before you go: Please consider volunteering with the SF Labor Council and the SF Democratic Party tomorrow to provide toys to the families of Local 2's striking hotel workers. They need our support, so let's show them what solidarity looks like. Click the graphic right below Rudy's column to sign up.

Happy holidays to you and yours. We'll see you in 2025.

He also reflects on the past year of professional and political accomplishments made by labor in the Bay — all of them thanks to the strength of our building trades membership.
