This past year has seen many developments, especially the electoral charade of the Democrat versus Republican presidential candidates. Palestine, Ukraine, and Syria have all become flashpoints in geopolitical struggles between contending capitalist powers, reshaping spheres of influence, all the while the US and global working class remain passive and disorganized.
Just as the working class abroad remains weak, so too does the working class in Virginia. Our primary task as Virginia workers is the formation of a working class party independent from the two main capitalist parties. We still need to transform the working class in-its-self to the working class for-its-self. This entails reformation of Virginia unions which overwhelmingly are bought off by the Democrat party.
As we move forward into 2025 class conscious workers in Virginia must begin the task of consolidation ideologically, politically, and economically speaking. Otherwise workers will continue passively following the likes of CIA spook Abigail Spanberger or far right wingnut Winsome Earle-Sears.
