Subject: Membership Monday: Mid-America Regional Council Welcomes New Territory!

Jan. 12, 2026

The Mid-America Carpenters Regional Council welcomes our newest Brothers and Sisters as the states of Iowa and Nebraska join the MACRC! The United Brotherhood of Carpenters announced this latest restructuring last week, consolidating resources and improving efficiency for the entire union. This now brings our Regional Council membership to 57,000 dedicated tradesmen and women proving that we're strong alone but unstoppable together! Welcome new Brothers and Sisters! - Viral Push -

Making noise and fighting the good fight is what makes union carpenters a force to be reckoned with here in the Midwest. Local 1 had boots on the ground in downtown Chicago against Grizzly Construction Advisors, which is shamelessly undercutting our area standards. Big thank you to our social media followers who've done an amazing job spreading the word!

- Heating Up -

Old Man Winter is giving us a break so far. Unseasonably warm days make work, like The Montage subdivision in Lake Saint Louis, a lot easier. With mild weather like this our crew from Consort Homes should have no problem getting doors open in time for the August grand opening.

- On the Job -

Community American Credit Union, the largest credit union in Missouri, will soon have this new headquarters to call home in the St. Louis suburb of Des Peres. Our carpenters working with Musick, TJ Wies and Phillips are close to finishing up on this handsome building set to open in a few months.

Job Corps Excelsior Springs, MO is looking for a carpentry instructor. All applicants will need to be knowledgeable in the trade and have the patience and skills to teach at the pre-apprenticeship program for disadvantaged youths. Contact: Ryan....@carpenters.org - (423) 612-0489.

Good Hearted: Members of Local 1127 in Kansas City recently volunteered at Harvesters Community Food Network boxing up meals for the elderly. Wherever there's work to be done, you'll find union carpenters. Thanks for giving back to the community, brothers and sisters!

Congrats: Shoutout to this talented group of Local 1185 Floorlayers rising up in their careers and becoming new journeymen! Your hard work and dedication doesn't go unnoticed. This is just the beginning brothers! (L-R: Oscar Flores, Noah Kolodziejczak, Zachary Koszyk, Matt Pinkston, Alejandro Posada, Alejandro Serrano Ramirez)
