The Mid-America Carpenters Regional Council continued to lead the way this past year with growth, work hours and member engagement. Looking forward to more success in 2026. Happy New Year Brothers and Sisters! | The newest issue of the UBC's Carpenter magazine is out! This edition is jam-packed with stories about our 43rd General Convention, a new win against wage theft, a millwright MVP...plus much more. | Working with other Chicago trades, the Mid-America Carpenters are proud to lend a hand restoring the childhood home of civil rights martyr Emmett Till. Our members will be installing new windows at the Till museum, which will house educational programming on the life and murder of the young boy that outraged 1950s America and galvanized the civil rights movement. It's getting built with the highest standards for net-zero energy performance and construction. You'll be hearing more about this project in the coming weeks and we thank everyone lending a hand! | | Our carpenters with TW Constructors and Carr Flooring have been busy with renovation to patient rooms, nursing stations and lab areas at Christian Hospital in North St. Louis County. As a preferred vendor for the hospital, TW has self-performed doors, frames, hardware installation, wall protection and millwork, giving our members a lot of solid work hours on the job. | | We're fortunate to have a Brotherhood of lifelong union carpenters. We thank them all for their dedication to the MACRC. No better time of the year to remind everyone that coming home safe and sound to our loved ones should always be top priority. | Best Wishes: A heartfelt farewell to Bart Fogelbach (Local 97) for years of service to his local and for managing the Regional Council dues collection office in St. Louis. Best wishes in your retirement, Bart! | | | | |
