| | Union Carpenters with Massman Construction are working on the Missouri River near downtown Kansas City. Our members are driving pile to extend the working area for Port KC. With the added space, the terminal will be able to move more barges through the port increasing commerce throughout the region. | | Arlington Gateway in Arlington Heights, IL is a 301-unit multifamily apartment complex made possible by union muscle. The complex will provide 26,000 square feet of retail space + 17,500 square feet of indoor and outdoor amenities. Our 65 Union Carpenters onsite will have this massive project done by mid 2026. | | Union Carpenters are in fast gear helping Musick Construction with this new auto dealership coming to St. Charles County, MO. The 70,000-square-foot showroom and service center will be revved up and ready to open in a few months. Pedal to the metal! | | Local 1 Cub Club got together to lend a hand at this Help Build Hope work day. Apprentices assembled wall panels that will be used by Habitat for Humanity for families in need. A great learning experience and rewarding way to give back for our up-and-comers. | | World's Tallest Mass Timber Building Underway | | Preventing Onsite Backover Accidents | | Standing Together: The Local 13 picket at 629 W. Lake Street had some extra bodies last week – retired members from UAW who were visiting the nearby Haymarket Memorial. We always love seeing Union solidarity at its finest! Independence Parade: Every year, Local 1889 participates in 4th of July Parade in Elgin. This year's parade was the best by far and it keeps getting better. Thanks to our members and their families for taking time out of their busy lives to join us in the parade!
