The Third Annual Kansas City Apprenticeship Graduation Dinner this past weekend was electric. Thank you to all of our speakers, including Kansas Gov. Laura Kelly who addressed the ceremony virtually. | Twenty-seven MACRC rank-and-file members joined more than 400 of their colleagues at the ITC to attend the UBC’s inaugural Membership Engagement Conference. The Power of Us: Rise, Restore, Inspire included workshops on member engagement, wellbeing and leadership training. Other takeaways for attendees included strategies and opportunities for ensuring every member feels included and represented within the UBC. | | MACRC Millwrights with Atlantic Plant Maintenance are performing work on a steam turbine/generator at NRG Powerton Station in Pekin. Our millwrights thrive on precision and are true master industrial mechanics. | | We’re fortunate to have longstanding signatory contractors, like Russell Construction, who choose local, union labor. This Chick-fil-A top to bottom remodel in the St. Louis suburb of Creve Coeur is giving a whole team of MACRC carpenters stable work-hours with a solid, livable wage. | | Thanks to everyone who attended our annul health fairs in St. Louis, Kansas City, Cape Girardeau and Lilse, IL. These events allow our members to learn about all of the health benefits and services available to them and their families, access care and receive free screenings.
