Brightest and Best

The Mid-America Carpenters Regional Council is helping power Illinois’ clean energy future. In Rockford, Elk Grove Village, and 15 other training centers in five states, we’re providing young people from every background with the training and skills to be the most productive workforce in the solar industry. A clean energy future built right!

- Finish Line -

Our 4th-year apprentices in the Quad Cities are getting ready to take the next step in their careers. They're performing a final manipulative interior systems test in preparation for graduation. Best of luck to all and we look forward to celebrating you soon!

- Wichita Work -

MACRC Carpenters working for Midwest Drywall are building a new clinic for Children's Mercy Hospital in Wichita. Our members are hanging metal studs and drywall, working on the fire suppression system for drywall and will also install the ceiling. The $18.3 million project will expand pediatric care and allow the hospital to serve more than 10,000 patients from across the region.

- On Duty -

Meeting growing demand, Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis County is expanding its entire emergency department. This $75 million redesign brings 73 patient beds, trauma bays and larger waiting rooms. GC Alberici Constructors, Titan and TJ Wies are on duty getting this job ready for a grand opening next year.
