I just added Ganeti 2.1.0_rc1 into the portage tree. It'll probably be
live within the next hour or two globally. I adjusted the init script
for this version to mimic what upstream changed it to. However I don't
believe Gentoo can use extra arguments in their init scripts so we
currently don't have a way to restart the processes individually.

Also, you might update the Distro Status page [1] to reflect me as the
primary maintainer for Gentoo. You can use ramereth <at> gentoo <dot>
org for my email.

Thanks!

The latter is only to be nice to the user, Ganeti 2.1 always uses
daemon-util to start and stop daemons. Thanks for updating the
package!

Done (together with a few other updates on that page).

That's what I figured from what it looked like. You might also take a
look at a patch I have to keep applying to get it to work on Gentoo [1].
It appears that the absolute path for brctl is in /sbin rather than
/usr/sbin on Gentoo. I haven't looked at other distros, but it might be
a good idea to at least add something to the configure/make scripts to
find the paths of applications like that. If you prefer, I can create an
issue for it.

Sure, it makes sense. I will add a configurable constant for it, such
as the one for SOCAT, what do you think?

Thanks,

Guido
