Hello,

how can i change the key for exiting the console?

OS: debian squeeze x64
ganeit 2.4.1
ganeti-debootstrap 0.9

i can attach to the console with

gnt-instance console vm-test1

but exiting das not work. My socat version is 1.7.1.3 from debian
squeeze.

Another thing is, that i am connected through putty and i have a
german keyboard.
So ] is not a single key but i need to pres ctrl right + key + ctrl.
Maybe this is the problem?

I have not found in the docs how to change this.

I understand you're using KVM? Then you need to edit constants.py to
change the code.

For Xen, it's not possible to change it (or I don't know), as it's
hardcoded by Xen.

Could be.

Right now, it's not configurable, unfortunately.

solved!

There is an alternate key combination:

Ctrl-5 works also!

Would be nice to add this to the docs.

Try instead
ctrl + alt gr + key

I got a german keyboard two and run into the same issue. ctrl-5 also works for me :)
I'm one step further know.

Would appreciate to contact you on further questions that might occur.
