The tracker felt random and really if you removed him from the movie, would anything really be lost, except a chunk of that 2 hours and 40 minutes ofc. I mean Caine knew where John was going to be in Osaka, it's not unreasonable for him to be able to guess where he'd go to next, his old family, the tracker's abilities aren't really explained so Caine knowing would be just as believable, at least Caine had reasoning such as Osaka being the only place that might accept him because he's friends with the head honcho there.
The tracker has a very vague unexplained debt to the high table and won't kill Wick till his bounty reaches an amount that he wants, it's never explained why his constant refusal to kill wick (despite arguably being able to) is never punished by the high table.
He's also kind of present at the final duel, but doesn't add anything, just laughs when Wick ends, was he somehow in on the plan to free Caine and kill the Marquis?
Hello everyone, I am an electronic music producer and composer for films and video games working under the name Le Castle Vania. I have worked on and contributed music to all of the John Wick films. (though I only contributed to one of the trailers for the third film.) I did a bunch of music for several of the club scenes and fight scenes for the rest of the movies and even had a cameo in the 2nd movie (I'm the DJ in the concert scene in Rome.) Any way, I very rarely come on reddit but I've been told that it would be a good idea for me to share my music here so that more people can discover it. Despite having composed a bunch of music for a major film franchise I actually release the majority of my music independently as I like to own my music and not have it controlled by a 3rd party record label. That said, it's up to me to get my music in front of new ears so that it can be heard. Obviously being a part of the John Wick films has been a great vehicle to help me do that but I have a ton of other songs that aren't in any movies but that I think are equally as good. That said, I'm not really sure of the best subreddits where it would be appropriate for me to post my music. I saw that a lot of my music from the John Wick films has been posted here in this John Wick subreddit. Would it be considered off topic for me to post my non-John Wick music here? Does anyone have any suggestions of the best / most appropriate places for me to share my music on Reddit?
TLDR: I wrote a lot of music for the John Wick movies. I would like to bring new listeners to my other music as well. Can I share it here in this subreddit? Are there other subreddits where I should share my music?
fast forward. We are now at the scene where Viggo gives up his sons location to spare his own life. The next scene is Viggo sitting at his desk, he could call and warn his son, but he dosnt. Son dies, john gets his revenge, all is well. Nobody has broken any rules.
I know a lot of people think 4 toed up things nicely and it did, but john wick 5 is already in the works. But in my opinion a 5th movie won't hurt the franchise as much as the 4th did, please let me explain before coming to kill me I actually liked 4 a lot. What I mean by this is that John wick truly could have been killed off in the second film by say the tarasovs and end it the way Winston knew it would end when he warned John about coming back into the pond, but then they started getting so ambitious as to what john had to do in the movies that I can't take the high table as seriously anymore.
What I mean is that everybody said john was trying to empty the ocean with a cup by going after the high table, and if they finished it in the second movie (maybe by making it a little longer) that would hold true, but we have been told basically in the end of 2 that fighting the high table is imposible, followed by two movies of john fighting the table, so what does it matter if they do another movie? As long as it is kinda plausible and the action is there I'm cool with JW5
