IMPORTANT:When using the iVRy Driver for SteamVR for the first time, it MUST be started from the "Launch" button, to ensure any additional services and drivers it requires get installed.
I have another issue and question. I was first trying to use Leap Motion to emulate vive controllers. Do I need to uninstall that first to make it all work? Also should I select the controller to map the buttons or the leap motion? Sorry for all of the questions, I just want to get it all working and figured out before I buy the full driver4vr.

I realized that the sound is delivered via USB Type-C when Link is connected. So the driver of the USB 3.1 was still using the sound even after VR uncoupling. I had to uninstall the USB driver, reboot the PC and scan for hardware changes in the device manager - that solved the problem immediately, however I wish this could be fixed for Oculus because now I am paranoid to connect my headset via Link and need to create a system checkpoint prior connecting the VR.
I am having a similar problem - no sound in Windows after using Oculus. The Oculus software/drivers are using the audio speaker even after disconnecting the Link. As a result, no sound in Windows. Tried selecting Speakers as a default, unchecked audio enhancements, reinstalling audio and NVIDIA driver, rebooting, stopping/starting audio service - nothing. When I try to Test the Speakers it pops up an error: Failed to play test tone. Please help!
I'm having the same problem - thanks Nikitqua for postin.g your solution. Unfortunately, I can't uninstall the USB driver as I need to keep working with the Quest Link - I'm developing a VR project in Unity for college, and need constant connection to the Quest. Equally, I can't work with losing access to sound on my laptop when not using the Quest. I can hardly join a Zoom or Teams meeting wearing my Quest headset!
I also can't submit the Oculus Log zip file - I followed the link given for support, but there's no option to follow that fits this problem, and no 'other' option. Please, please, please Meta, give us a means of reporting this problem, so your people can look into it. Your Link software is clearly interfering with the audio environment of the PC it's running on, and must be fixed - it's totally unacceptable!
enactivejanet the driver will removed temporarily. It will be automatically restored when you 'scan for hardware changes' just make sure you can use touchpad, non-usb bluetooth or ps/2 mouse to navigate.
Turning the lighthouses on and off with SteamVR? Broken.
Even if you have working bluetooth on your PC, SteamVR has no option in settings to turn the lighthouses on and off.

Just a quick post to relay my experience:
I flashed a Steam Controller USB bluetooth Dongle to add a 3rd Vive controller to my Vive setup.
I can start Steam VR and my base station is shown with the unique controller:
I can track controllers (with dongles) and the null driver, as well as the Vive Tracker and dongle. Although in Unreal Engine I have to flash the tracker as a controller to get the button functionality working. The problem is the null driver is not performant and I get very choppy playback/tracking.
This smaller update is intended to combat the Control Center issue some users have. For some users it silently crashes when it tries to open the Main Window. Which after doing the driver package install is the default Window to be launched. Unfortunately, on all my machines and systems the Control Center is working as expected. Right now, I have only some little guessing, where the issue may come from, but do not have any clue about the why and how to fix it.
But that is changing now. I am going to release the multi driver mode feature in multiple steps as i progress development. The benefit is that new features are available earlier. On the downside development time may increase, as i need to reimplement and refactor the codebase. Furthermore settings are not guaranteed to be stable among releases. But slow progress is better than no progress at all.
The current release only includes the gamepad mode. The following updates are going to resolve around adding further driver modes. The goal is to finally have one driver supporting all kinds of different mode, i.e. IR mouse, DPad mouse, etc.
As said the current release only includes the gamepad mode. So no update for people that use the Wiimote as mouse. Also to simplify the development process a Control Center is only compatible with its accompanied device driver version.
As the MSDN Desgin Guide Sending HID Reports by Kernel-Mode Drivers (WriteFile will send out an IRP_MJ_WRITE request to the driver interface) suggests, the output report buffers shall have the size of the largest output report supported by the device. In case of the Wiimote this is 22 Byte.
This build has nothing new except that is has been rebuild with the newest Visual Studio 2015 and Windows Driver Kit 10. So for non Windows 10 users there is no urgent need to download/update it. But you can if you like to, just make sure to uninstall the previous/old driver.
So this is a multi-system Desktop build and not an Universal Driver. I am going to provide an Universal Driver as well soon, but there is some work to be done. The driver compiles fine and without any error. The only issue is that i have to make an universal .inf file, which simply requires me to read through the MSDN documentation. However, i am currently not able to test the Universal Driver on a Windows Phone nor on an IoT-System, so the build is going to be purely experimental and for people that just want to give it a try.
I am also not quite certain about the driver signing regarding the Universal Driver. I have no clue whether it is possible to deactivate the driver verification on Mobile and IoT-Systems and get an unsigned driver loaded. I would assume there is some way, because devs need the ability to test drivers on the device, but that might require additional test modes, which in turn may have side effects.
