The Indie Author Project allows local, independent authors to submit eBooks directly to The City Library to then be vetted by industry editorial partners (such as Library Journal, Publishers Weekly, and others) and regional library editorial boards for inclusion in the Indie Author Project Select collection.

Pressbooks Public
An easy-to-use digital self-publishing tool that allows local writers to create professional-quality eBook and print ready files in ePUB, MOBI, and PDF formats. Distribute your eBook commercially, use it privately, or share with your library via the Indie Author Project. NOTE: Patrons must create a Biblioboard Library profile in order to login to Pressbooks Public.

LinkedIn Learning provides an extensive library of training videos on practically any software program imaginable, including business productivity programs like Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), professional design software such as Adobe's Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, etc.), audio and video production, mobile platforms (iOS, Andriod, etc.) and so much more. The City Library's LinkedIn Learning membership offers patrons unlimited access to a library of over 100,000 high-quality, current, and engaging video tutorials as part of over 13,000 courses taught by recognized industry experts in seven languages.

NOTE: Mobile app users can login under the Library's LinkedIn Learning license from the app's home screen by tapping Sign in, then tapping the Sign in with your library card button. On the Library ID line, enter thecitylibrary (all lower case), then enter your Library card number and PIN on the next screen.
