814 GDX container with UNDF data values

Hello everyone,

I am trying to balance a social accounting matrix using the pep (Université Laval) GAMS code but I am getting the following error: 814  GDX container with UNDF data values. I don't understand why. I do not have any undefined value. I have checked carefully but haven't managed to solve it yet. I would really appreciate if you could take a quick look at it and help me fix it please! The SAM has only minor unbalances, as you will see in the excel file. Please find attached my files.

Hi José

 

Your file is an exel file with xlsx as extension. In your code you have xls instead of xlsx in the gdxxrw command. Runs fine after correction.

Dear Renger,

Thank you very much for taking the time! I really appreciate it! I never imagined that the extension file was the problem. It runs now, however, I am still getting the following error: 13 system failure. Could not initialize environment. Rc=1 Msg=Operation not permitted. Error: Solver "CONOPT" returned with nonzero exitcode 1. I have tried with other solvers such as MINOS 5 and CONOPT3 but the error prevails. 

Any suggestion about where I should look at to fix it?

This sounds like a system error. I can’t answer that (especially as the model runs fine on my machine). If nobody answers, try to contact gams support (sup...@gams.com)-

Hi Jose,

I am having the same problem to run GAMS,  I getting the following error: 13 system failure. Could not initialize environment. Rc=1 Msg=Operation not permitted. Error: Solver returned with nonzero exitcode 1. 

My version of GAMS is 24.1.3, which I have a license to run,  MS windows 64 , CPLEX solver.

How you solved your problem? 

 

Any suggestion how to fix it?
