Dear friends,

Now that you're about to be celebrating a competition managed with Cubecomps.com, I'd like to give you some last advices:

1. Take a copy of the XLSX file (MISC page) after every round.  This is very important because in case of internet issues or connection failure you will need it.
2. Pay special attention to not confuse 'Best of 3' and 'Mean of 3' formats.  If you already entered scores in a round and you need to change the format, you'll be forced to delete all the scores previous to any change.
3. If your not certain about what cutoffs will be, you better don't set them.  Similar to above, any change requires a blank round, that is, deleting any existing score.
4. Number of attempts for cutoffs are 2 for rounds with 5 scores and 1 for the rest.  The exception is x3 BLD, that has 2 attempts in any case.
5. If you have to use Internet Explorer... well, it's up to you.  But this browser is highly unrecommended. :(
6. I follow all the competitions as long as I'm at home or anyhow connected.  It could be really helpful to have an easy and quick manner to contact me.  The best way for me is facebook.  I'm Luis J. Iáñez  Feel free to ask me to add you; as long as you're a delegate, organizer or cuber, I don't have any problem on that. :D
7. Don't forget the most important: ...Have fun!

New features added lately

• new! Page dedicated to winner's certificates.
• Option for printing all the scorecards for the open first rounds.
  
• Option for a competitor to miss a round / leave event.  Available from second round on.  He/she is replaced by the next competitor classified (when possible).
• Option to empty all database and start from scratch has been implemented.  Use it carefully!!!
• The live results page now includes a button to activate the 'show mode': the page refreshes automatically every 30 seconds and the menu at the left hand disappears. Ideal for exhibition at the competition venue.
• The incremental search over competitors' names has been implemented in the RESULTS page for both, score-takers and administrators. Now it's very easy to find someone with a few keystrokes.
• Arrangement of COMPETITORS page through different columns: IDs, name (default), birthday, country and gender.
