Teaser/Game Synopsis: Prologue: Mission 7 “Rebirth Of The Thunderbird.”
The Retribution is hobbled from the attack of the mysterious organism that tried to eat trough the outer skin of the ship. Her hull and superstructure are weakened from the assault, yet as Engineering attempts temporary repairs, the gallant Lady continues her patrol undaunted, as the new CO takes the helm.
However, a power flux during Captain Zatain’s address to the crew from the Stardust Lounge, brings the ships instrumentation back online with corrected data streaming through the ships systems. They are off course! Far off course! They have either skirted around, or flown directly through Cardassian space!
And as if that were not enough, the Ret’s long range scanners had picked up the signature of a ship well known to the intrepid crew. The signature belonged to the ship that escaped from them at the pirate stronghold, Kiala City on Plagor Four earlier (M4 ‘To Find The Lost’) with an old adversary on board . . . . Tion Meddon! The pirate King!
The pirate craft’s trajectory puts her directly ahead of the weakened Sovereign Class Starship, according to the Ret’s revised position. That position is confirmed from data in the white box from newly arrived pilot,1st Lieutenant Alexander’s fighter. With this news, the new Captain, Colonel Dkaar Zatain orders the helm to lay in a course of pursuit after the enemy vessel. But can the Retribution withstand the chase, and is she prepared should the pirates turn and fight?
The beginning of another action packed chapter in the ongoing chronicle of the USS Retribution, NCC 18981. Following her as she ventures deep in the Alpha Quadrant with one of Alpha Fleets most decorated crews.
There are plenty of open positions for those seeking a forum based sim and original missions. There are many to chose from, including some Department Head positions.
Stop by and look over the manifest, see if there’s a position available that you’d like. In fact, since the manifest is filled with NPC’s, you are free to assume any of the character’s names and race if you should find one you like, just not the rank. As with most all Trek simms, the moderators will review your request, and assign a rank from that.
