Dear all,

A quick note to share some good news about the podcasts, following our conversation at the WG5 meeting in Rome.

The University of Lausanne has a multimedia centre that I could access for free:

https://www.unil.ch/lettres/fr/home/menuguid/etudiantes/guides-conseils-et-tutoriels/centre-multimedia.html

Training is provided as to use the facilities autonomously.

As for the topic, which we haven't discussed at length in Rome, this is a reminder that Dorina and I had discussed this during my STSM in Greece, compiling a tentative list of artefacts, and we had shared a Google form in November to invite all of you to report on game boards or game-related materials to be presented.

As part of our strategy to involve museum institutions, we had planned to involve museum directors and staff, inviting them to introduce the object exhibited, and having specialists addressing game-related issues; however, we didn't get any feedback.

We attach the link again, kindly asking you to advance your proposal (concerning items or more general topics):

https://forms.gle/oycic1H3HT9roqyN6

Our idea was to disseminate the podcasts on the COST website, but also as a mobile phone app (such as this one, https://cycladic.gr/en/visitor-guide/), and have them possibly distributed through a QR code in the museums involved.

We are pleased to see that the idea has finally attracted some interest and are happy to discuss it further in the next future.

Thank you for your contribution.

Best wishes,

Barbara and Dorina

Hello Barbara,
this is awesome, I have a little follow up question about this.
How are you planning to handle the podcast speakers? Would the interviews all be held through online meetings?
I have some contacts from many museums in Spain (Murcia-Alicante-Cartagena) and there are some nice gaming artefacts we could share more about.
Kind regards,
Ilaria

Dear Ilaria,

Thank you for your feedback.
Please fill the google form with your suggestions:

once we have a list of items, we will discuss which ones should be presented and then decide how to do it.
