Dear friends and colleagues,

The lecture series on the Ludic Languages of Asia continues on Friday 21st March, 10:00-11:00 CET. Fatih Parlak from Cappadocia University, Turkey, will give a lecture on the little explored manuscripts of the Şatranç-nâme-i Kebîr, or Great Book of Chess, composed by Firdevsî-i Rûmî in 1503 CE for the Ottoman Sultan Bayezid II (r. 1481-1512).
