WG2 Virtual Meeting eCOST Invitations

Dear Working Group 2,

In a few days or so, you will receive an invitation for our meeting on December 14 from the eCOST system. Henceforth, this will be how we handle these meetings. We were still ironing out the details of what should and shouldn't go through that system and what needed MC approval when I sent out the invitations via the Google Group, because we wanted to get things moving. Your inboxes will be happy about this development, I'm sure :)

All you will need to do is to accept or decline the invitation when you receive it, and it will provide the Zoom link and all the necessary information. You do not have to reconfirm that you will speak or let us know about any specific time availability, this has already been noted.

Good morning Walter,

thanks for this information, and for have collected all our responses.

I am about to ask regarding the organization; since it is difficult for me, and maybe for someone else too, to attend the whole event, and since we are going to introduce ourselves and our expertise, would you think it could be a good idea to divide us in two groups?

I was thinking one for the morning, the other in the afternoon, so to organize the day and be more efficient.

It is just a suggestion, I would like to know what you all think.

Good morning to all,

Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend the online meeting on the 14th, as it clashes with my duties at the University.

On the other hand, I think that 8-hour online meetings are "a bit much" and should be avoided... I hardly have a working day with that much "free" time, no matter how much I love or am interested in the subject of the project.
