Hello again everyone!

We at Games for Change are excited to let you all know about our last National Student Challenge Virtual Game Jam of 2022, taking place THIS Saturday, March 12th @ 11:00AM-3:30PM EST

As part of the national G4C Student Challenge, Game Jams are half-day virtual events where students rapid prototype their very own digital games about social impact Theme topics they care about. This last jam is an invitation for students from all over the U.S. to make their very own games about “Voice of a New Generation”; games that tackle voter suppression and celebrate young people’s unique perspectives. Game creation will be supported by pro game designers as well as topic experts from The New Georgia Project

We all have ideas about how to make our communities and lives better. Have your students join this jam and let their voices be heard!

More Information:

  • All students grades 5-12 can tune in for free

  • No prior experience with game design is required

  • Attendees will learn how to make games using the Scratch design platform, collaborate with others from across the country, and explore civic engagement

  • Attendees can make a brand new game during the jam or participate to get feedback and guidance on one you’ve already started
