If you are repeatedly getting Xbox 360 disc read error, you will need
to rectify the problem before you can play game on your favorite
console. You need not replace your disc drive and instead does some
sort of fixing the Xbox 360 disc read error.
Whenever you insert a disc in your DVD drive, you get a message,
"please insert an Xbox 360 game disc" and this might take away your
interest from the xbox 360 gaming console. You need not worry too much
as this problem can easily be rectified by yourself.
The main disadvantage of Xbox 360 console is that it is compact and
therefore it gets overheated easily and quickly. The problem of Xbox
360 disc read error is caused by overheating and some of the
connectors get burnt by overheating and therefore for proper
functioning of the console, you need to replace such connectors.
Although many people prefer to send the gaming console to Microsoft
for repair and I personally feel that this is not the right solution

to Microsoft and during transit some additional problem to your
console might also occur. Further you will have to send $140 to
Microsoft as repair fee and will have to bear the shipping expenses
also. The main disadvantage of sending your console to Microsoft is
that if the same problem reoccurs, you will have to send the console
again and have to wait for a month to get back your Xbox 360.
So, instead of sending your gaming console for fixing Xbox 360 disc
read error, you have another option to do the job yourself.
