Global Game Jam

To those of you who participated in Global Game Jam 2010:
I hope you enjoyed the event and that the weather didn't interfere
terribly with your ability to complete your game. I sincerely wish we
could have had better arrangements for the weather situation. If you
would like to be considered for any sort of award for our local site,
please email your fully packaged game to me: doran....@gmail.com
Make sure any submission you make is complete and has detailed
instructions on how to install/play. Submissions must be received by
11:59 pm this Friday, January 5th. Judging will occur next week and
an award ceremony will be held the next weekend (the 12th or 13th).
Also, if you are interested in having screen shots from your game on
the website, let me know and send some my way!
To all Gamers' Alliance Members:
We will have a meeting this week to make plans for the rest of the
semester. Sadly, I have been unable to confirm a room/time/day due to
the closure of the University for the past 3 days >.< As soon as I
have details confirmed they will be passed along to you all.
During this meeting we will:
-Schedule all events for the remainder of the semester
-Finalize officers for the club (if you're still interested in being
an officer, send me an e-mail in advance)
-Form a GGJ 2011 Committee (so next year's game jam will be the best
game jam ever!)
-Discuss opportunities to collaborate with Play n' Trade as well as
Ubisoft on a variety of promotional events
