It is the time to start the mission, journey or campaign.
Today, the computer games and video games have become one of the most
popular streams of electronic entertainment media. And computer games
are getting more interactive. And graphics of games are getting more
and more like movies. Also the game AI (artificial intelligence) and
other technical aspects of games are improving day by day.
At the moment there is no strong game development industry or game
development community in Sri Lanka. But there are some game development
enthusiasts dreaming about making their own computer games. So this
group is to make a platform for these game development enthusiasts to
share ideas, knowledge and experiences. And this group is to build a
new game development community in Sri Lanka.
Game development requires a wide range of expertise in many areas. This
is a field that art, technology, creativity and imagination bind
together.
So, this group is dedicated for Sri Lankan computer game development
enthusiasts and discussions on game development related topics.

At the moment most of us are new to game development. And we have only
few experiences in game development tools. But there are people with us
who have expertise in software development, different programming
languages, 3D modeling, animation and music. More than everything we
have people with great imaginations and dreams. Currently our skills
are only limited to few areas and it is difficult to handle an
outstanding project alone. But if all of us are willing to share the
knowledge, ideas and experiences through this group, our dreams will
become a reality. :-)
So, when you get free time try to write anything about game development
for this group. No need to write very lengthy or formal mails every
time. Just write whatever comes to your mind and feel free to share
