Announcement of Mega "i-Smile" Project - 11 Areas - 11 Tables - 11 Dental Camps

On behalf of BTRT 222 I wish all a very happy festive month .
In our continuous efforts to do our bit towards Community Service, Bangalore Titans Round Table BTRT 222 announces the "Mega i-Smile" Project.
We will be conducting 11 Dental camps for school children in the rural areas of Bangalore.
Each of this camp will be a Joint Project of Bangalore Titans Round Table 222 and One Table of Each Area of Round Table India.
We are currently in the process of finalising the participating Tables from Each Area and announce the names of the participating Tabler soon.
Under i-Smile, each dental camp will done in a government school in a location within 100 kms distance from Bangalore City. In each camp, 300-400 children will be screened by a 12 to 15 member team of doctors/nurses/assistants/helpers etc. The 30-40 approx children per dental camp, found with defects, will be given a slip for free treatment in a good Bangalore city hospital which they can use later for treatment. We have already finished our tie-up with the Hospitals for such free treatment to be provided.
The total cost of conducting each camp for 300-400 children at a government school will be around Rs.50,000
The cost of Free Treatment for the 30-40 children at our tied up hospitals will be around Rs.1,50,000/- per camp, which we already have completely sponsored by the Hospitals we are tieing up with.
Thus, the total cost for conducting Project i-Smile - 11 dental check up camps at different locations, Jointly with 11 different Tables of 11 Areas - will be Rs. 5,50,000/-.
And, the total cost of Free Treatment at the hospital provided to the children, screened at these 11 dental camps will be Rs. 16,50,000/- which is already sponsored by the Hospitals we are tieing up with.
Thus, total value of Community Service done under Project i-Smile, will be effectively Rs. 22,00,000/-.
We thank all the 11 Tables of 11 different Areas in advance for their participation in this Mega "i-Smile" Project. The names will be shared soon.
We will keep you posted with the reports of all the dental camps done jointly with individual Tables of 11 different Areas as and when the camp in conducted.
