Vezzix's appears causally standing in the tall grass next to the downed enemy Magi.  Motioning towards Luren he says  "It appears they all had an item upon them that struck them down at their master's command. Distasteful magic to say the least. It also means that thier master was able to watch this battle to ensure we took no hostages. Perhaps's he is near by... or a mage who can scry?...in any event this bodes ill."  Holding a small metal object in his hand up for inspection he continues. " I would think a mage or priest of this power would not spend much time learning to be a jeweler as well. Perhaps if we could find who made these....".   **In his hand is a small metal earring with a burned out stone**
