Hey all,

So hardly anyone came to meeting or LAN on Friday, but we decided that
there is interest in an Analog Day. We decided that we would go to
Wash Park during the day and BBQ and play outdoor games. Once it got
dark we'd head indoors and play board games.

What I need to know is roughly how many people are interested in
coming so I can plan how much food to get. Also if a lot of people
want to come I will have to ask for small donations, no more than $5.
Feel free to invite friends that aren't in the club, I just need to
know.

I also need to know peoples schedules so I can nail down a date for
the event. As of now I'm thinking about a Saturday afternoon/evening,
but nothing is set at all.

Also let me know what board games or outdoor toys, footballs, soccer
balls, Frisbee, etc, you have so we don't have everyone bringing the
same thing.

Please let me know when you guys are free and if you want to come, it
will be a lot more fun to have more people attending.

Thanks,
Nate Gutschow

Hey John, do you think we could bbq the ribs for this or is there no way of cooking them in an oven and then serving them at wash park?

Just a thought,
Beau

Also there is a board game club if i remember correctly,  maybe we can coordinate something with them?  They have all the board games already, and I bet they would be down for some Saturday night board game shenanigans.

Well, there used to be a helpful list of all the student clubs at
https://iris.cair.du.edu/ausasenate/committees/SOC/viewOrgs.cfm for
those willing to spend hours digging through the university website to
find it. UTS has since, helpfully, totally screwed that up. From what
I remember, the board game club used to meet on Wednesday at 9 in
Nelson... that was a long time ago, though. A little digging through
DU's mailing list manager says that their mailing list owners are
Samanth...@du.edu and Lorissa...@du.edu, or alternatively
just b-gclu...@du.edu if anyone wants to try to contact them. Who
knows how old that information is, though (why we even host such a
page is beyond me).
