Industry Day Friday!

Before the VGADC meeting around noon in the Driscol Ballroom is a
career fair thing I thought I'd let you guys know about.

Here's the info I got from Chris GauthierDickey:

1) You'll get a free lunch (=
2) You'll pay for that free lunch by listening to boring speeches
3) You get to meet industry folks, network, and possibly get jobs.

In particular, NetDevil, Idol Minds, and Dire Wolf will be there
(local game companies). The representatives from those companies
aren't just your regular "from the PR department" type people, they're
actual people who are interested in internships and hiring DU students
(some who have done so in the past).

Dress business casual. Bring a resume. Bring a portfolio if you have
one (anything to show off what you've done). It doesn't matter if
you're a freshman or senior.

I will probably be there but if you're not then I'll see you at the
meeting!
