update: played around 20 levels or so with clare. this game is a pretty fun experience and works pretty well on a shared keyboard experience. (although for wrist comfort I sat on the right, played with my left hand on WASD while she sat on the left and played right handed on arrow keys... very intimate lol). perhaps sharing a keyboard over the course of a playthrough of the game might end up feeling cramped because it seems like there are a bunch of levels and the puzzles are pretty tough tbh.
and on that note the puzzles: I think I found them to be fairly satisfying to finish, but it is pretty hard to project ahead of time to devise a plan for how to complete the level. 1 mechanic is swapping which sides of the split screen your character is on, and i can never imagine what the screen will look like after we swap, and thus a lot of the puzzle solving is just moving about/swapping sides until an alignment appears thats close enough to the solution that you can figure out what to do. I never felt like i started the level and could immediately begin thinking about how to solve it. Luckily movement largely feels good and the puzzle mechanics are pretty fun so wandering around until you find a way to progress is mostly enjoyable.
the minotaurs are cute, especially when they are different sizes
