made a cute planet, tried to maximize how ridiculous it looked, everything looks equally ridiculous.

I went for maximalism as well. I don't know that I really found it to be fun? Nothing really changed in a radical enough way to evoke excitement. Also, everything was very shiny and that was weird.

Yeah! i think the radical change aspect for me is something that is important in the fun of a paper doll - esque experience.
