Hi Ion,

I searched for a positional wheel and found your link below:

Not many results for positional lottery wheels.

Reason for my interest was using percentages by position for a 6/49 game.
The image below contains the positions 1 through 6 and how many times a lottery number appears by position for a 6/49 game.

PA649 Game Positional Matrix 1.jpg

The image below displays the lottery numbers by positions using 80 percent.
I could use any percent by positions such as 80%, 70%, 60% etc.
Columns CW through DB display the positional lottery numbers at 80%

PA649 Game Positional Matrix 80 Percent 2.jpg

Chart below was used to create the percentages (80%, 70%, etc) based on the ranking of the highest number of occurrences by positions 1 through 6.

PA649 Game Positional Matrix Percent Chart 3.jpg

The image below displays the PA 6/49 drawing history.  Most recent drawing from Sunday, November 23, 2025.
Columns T through Y  indicate with the value 1 starting on row 20 if a lottery number by position 1 through 6 at 80% or less.
In the last 31 drawings a 6of6 occurred 15 times.
The lower the percentage selected such as 70%, the fewer 6of6 jackpot winners and the fewer lottery numbers to choose from positions 1 through 6.

Totcheeller:

Axiomatic of planetary endeavors, you are the uncontested expert in Excel lottery. You can do magic, really. Had you been at the same level with general-purpose programming languages, you would be light-years ahead of lottery artificial intelligence (AI). Of course, you would have needed access to the intricacies of my lottery strategies. AI is so far behind when it comes to lottery strategizing. I tested the major AI engines:

Totcheeller, your spreadsheet is very interesting. The percentage function is a reference to the range of analysis (or parpaluck, in our parlance).

The parpaluck is a discreet number, however. Also, it is different from a group of numbers to another. The most important parpalucks are calculated for pairings, triples, and quadruples (quads). The parpalucks for quintets and sextets are way too large. Way too many lottery drawings are necessary, beyond the lifespan of a human.

You can add the parpaluck parameter to your spreadsheet. You know how it is calculated for each number-group and for each lotto game. For 6/49: pairs=8, trips=56, quads=1032. Regardless of position. They are much larger when calculated for position by position. You can seek and find on my site. I am not in the game anymore after COBESE19 and a health problem.

Then, there is the other half of the strategy: the LIE strategy. Your Pennsylvanian fellow, BrianPA is an expert in the matter.

Best of luck to you and Brian!

                        LIE Strategies for Lotto-5 (PA 5/43)
               ------------------------------------

The strategies are in these text files:
https://saliu.com/freeware/ST5-Any1-1-MX-1
https://saliu.com/freeware/ST5-Any2-1-MX-1

* Pivot filter: Any1_1_MAX = 1
* Pivot filter: Any2_1_MAX = 1

=========== for both ST5-Any1-1-MX-1 & ST5-Ver1-1-MX-1 strategies ==========
** Both Any & Ver types of strategies work in conjunction with the HOTTEST numbers
   in the game -- 'regardless of position' and 'positional' frequencies.
   Report created by LieId5.exe: LieId5.1, the 2 frequency sections.

   The LieId5.1 report is sorted on HotID1 and HoPId1.
   * HotID1: Scroll to the end of the sorted report, then Page Up until I see the first 0
             in the column
             * Column-select in Notepad++, copy and paste to file LieID5.1HotId1.HIT
   * HoPID1: Scroll to the end of the sorted report, then Page Up until I see the first 0
             in the column
             * Press Ctrl+C to copy the rectangular bloc
 * Go to the bottom of file LieID5.1HotId1.HIT and press Ctrl+V to paste
 * Press Ctrl+S to save the modified file (this file will have now duplicate lines)
   * Format HotID1 (in FileLines.exe), then SORT deleting the duplicates
 * new filename: LieID5.1HotId1.HIT-SOR+D

=========== for strategy ST5-Any1-1-MX-1 ==========
** See when the pivot-strategy ST5-Any1-1-MX-1.HIT file had common (simultaneous) draws
   with the LieID5.1HotId1.HIT-SOR+D
             * Run FileLines, function: H = Common Lines from HIT Files (the 2 HIT files above)
             * Format the resulting file, sort it in ascending order, remove the duplicates
             * Save file as: HIT-Any1-Hot1

** Run FileLines, function: R = Common Lines from W* Reports
             * Use HIT-Any1-Hot1 as input for all HEAD files I want to create the CROSS reports
             * Open the CROSS reports to further reduce the combos to play

** Run FileLines to create the skip report for HIT-Any1-Hot1
             * function: F = Format/Sort HIT Files + Skips, then
             * function: S = Calculate Skips in HIT Files
 * skip report saved to file HIT-Any1-Hot1~SKI

** Run PairGrid.exe to check if any numbers in the last draw became HOTTEST
             * update PA-5 as normally and save it
             * highlite the last draw, Ctrl+C to copy, then press Ctrl+V twice to paste
   PA-5 has the last draw duplicated
             * save the file as PA-5.2
             * run Super Utilities, Make/Break: PA-5.2+SIM-5 D5.2
             * run PairGrid.exe, function R = Reports
             * open PairGrid5.1 to see if the 1st row shows and 1(s) in the Frequency sections
 * 1 indicates top frequency numbers that can be used as FAVORITES.

** RUN Lexico5.exe: '1 favorite'; i.e. hottest digit 'regardless of position'
 * apply the strategy file ST5-Any1-1-MX-1 as input
 * name the output file ST5-Any1-1-MX-1.ANY-OUT

** When using hottest digits by 'positional frequency'
 * create a positional system (file) as described on this Web page:
               https://saliu.com/favorite-lottery-numbers-positions.html
 * generate lexicographic combinations from that positional system file
 * name the file e.g. HIT-Hot-Sys.OUT
 * USUALLY, PURGING HAS NO EFFECT FOR POSITIONAL SYSTEMS

** PURGE HIT-Hot-Sys.OUT in Lexico5.exe.exe for the ST5-Any1-1-MX-1 strategy file
 * apply the strategy file ST5-Any1-1-MX-1 as input
 * name the output file ST5-Any1-1-MX-1.POS-OUT
 * USUALLY, PURGING HAS NO EFFECT FOR POSITIONAL SYSTEMS

** If using hottest BOTH 'regardless' and 'positional' frequencies
 * concatenate both ST5-Any1-1-MX-1.ANY-OUT & ST5-Any1-1-MX-1.POS-OUT
 * sort by removing duplicates in the concatenated file
 * name sorted file e.g. ST5-Any1-1-MX-1.ANY-POS-OUT
 * USUALLY, PURGING HAS NO EFFECT FOR POSITIONAL SYSTEMS

** Apply the 'LIE elimination' to the purged file in the respective type of application

Thank you for the information.
Sorry to hear about your health issues.
I turned 70 in August and every new day there is a new ache or pain that I never had before.

I tried to locate the following below on your website but could not find it:
You can add the parpaluck parameter to your spreadsheet. You know how it is calculated for each number-group and for each lotto game. For 6/49: pairs=8, trips=56, quads=1032. Regardless of position. They are much larger when calculated for position by position. You can seek and find on my site.

Have you had any contact with BrianPA?  I think he lived in Allentown or Bethlehem area.
Brian posted very goo ideas a number of years ago.

Thank you again.
Steve

Totcheeller:

Axiomatic of inquisitive endeavors, the parpaluck is calculated by FFG. It is the N for DC=50% for the probability of a specific number-group. There are several pages dealing with the subject. The best start is the search page:
•         https://saliu.com/Search.htm

The native search engine is the best choice. Google search doesn’t index all pages at my site.

A few pages to get you started:
•         https://saliu.com/FFGNumbersDCTables.htm
•         https://saliu.com/lottery-lotto-pairs.html
•         https://saliu.com/oddslotto.html

The SuperUtilities functions in Bright/Ultimate software calculate the range of analysis for each group. For example, parpaluck is 638 (drawings to analyze) in lotto 6/49.

 If you have time, you can go deeper in your research. As I said, I no longer have the time and interest in lotto analysis or play.

Best of luck!

Ion “Parpaluck” Saliu
PS
I thought you knew more about Brian that I. He is very good with the Lie Strategy.
