* Je viens de mettre en ligne le prélude arpégé d'Abel pour viole
seule (recopié d'après le manuscrit de la collection Drexel à New
York).
° I've just posted a prelude from Abel for solo bass viol (copied out
after the manuscript from the Drexel collection in NYC).

* Pour ceux qui ne connaîtraient pas la pièce en question, afin de
leur donner une petite idée de la manière dont elle se joue, voici un
lien vers une interprétation par John Dornenburg (avec quelques
libertés par rapport à la partition originale, notamment en ce qui
concerne le deuxième accord de la mesure 21) :

P.S.: If it's the same person on the paintings, it's apparently not
the same viol!
P.S.: s'il s'agit de la même personne sur les deux tableaux, il ne
s'agit apparemment pas de la même viole !

P.P.S.: apart from the D added in brackets on the second chord of
measure 16, I left all the original chords unchanged (unless I made
some mistakes!).

P.P.S. : à l'exception du ré ajouté entre parenthèses dans le deuxième
accord de la mesure 16, je n'ai rien changé aux accords originaux
(sauf si j'ai fait des erreurs de copie !).
