I hope this message finds you well.

I’m currently encountering an issue with my GAMA workspace where none of my user projects are opening. All of them appear as "(closed)", and when I try to open any of them, I receive the following error:

“The project description file (.project) for '[Project Name]' is missing. This file contains important information about the project. The project will not function properly until this file is restored.”

This issue is affecting all my projects, including ones like Driving Skill, Clustering Algorithms, etc. It seems the .project files for each are either missing or were not recognized after a recent workspace or system change.

I would appreciate any guidance on how to:

  1. Recover or regenerate the missing .project files;

  2. Restore these projects without losing my model content;

  3. Prevent this from happening in future migrations or workspace changes.

Please let me know if logs or additional information are required. Thank you in advance for your support.

Best regards,

Hello,

I don't know how this happened or what could have caused it, but I'm pretty sure that if you create a new workspace and import your old user projects into it, it should work properly.

Best regards,

Baptiste
