Hello

1. I have incompatibility between my world coordinates (shape <-envelope (region shape file)) and the
coordinates of csv files, so is their any note to treat this incompatibility ?
2. can I transfer the shape file to matrix in Gama ?
3. the dynamic agent is gone out borders of the world, and moves near the edges of polygons, in spite of their
coordinates are the center of the polygons.

so I avoid this problem by subtracting some values from the coordinates, but still an error
the attached files to give clear insight to the problem

thanks in advance

cheers
Suhad

Hi,

I think the problem arises from the fact that you are probably not aware of GIS procedures. The problem you indicate could be a coordinate system problem. My advice would be to go to your GIS colleagues and explain your question. They can fix this for you. First issue is that .shp files cannot work on their own, it needs another 6 files for its proper functioning. Or at least 3 more if you are using older versions or non ArcGIS versions of shape files. If you submit just one .shp, you make things more "incompatible" :)

Just visit your GIS colleagues :)

regards,
Srirama

Hi,

GAMA provides many spatial features but it is not a GIS. The best things to do in you case is to use a GIS to translated all your csv files into shapefiles (with the correct CRS).

As Srirama pointed out, you should ask one of your colleagues to help you for that (I know that your are working in a project with geographers from Rouen, you should ask them or you can ask some geographers from Le Havre).

Cheers,

Patrick

thanks dear Srirama , dear Patrick

well, I can do it (transfer my data to shp files), since I work on GIS, but I thought as read once that Gama mapped values to be compatible with determined Gama world, however its first time to me encountering such case .

best regards

cheers
