draw -> file -> .png (tutorial predatorxprey - step 7)

hello everyone, i`m starting using GAMA and i`m doing the predator x prey tutorial.

in the step 7 (http://gama-platform.org/tutorials#PredatorPrey_step7) appear that " 'draw' can not draw objects of type file"
how can i fix it?

Hi,

I cannot find where you read that draw cannot draw objects of type file in the tutorial step 7.

In particular, this step show you how to use icon file to display agents with an image.

You can see the results in models of the models library (in particular in model 8 of the Prey predator).

Hello, i`m using the model shown at http://gama-platform.org/tutorials#PredatorPrey_step7, first i was using GAMA1.7 then i updated to 1.8, but the same happenned.

i tried to check the model version at the library but the version at library (http://gama-platform.org/references#PredatorPreyLotka-VolterraInfluenceofIntegrationStep) and it was not using draw.

i found the http://gama-platform.org/references#PredatorPreyModel07 and i could see my error.. at tutorial it says "file my_icon;" the right is "image_file my_icon;"

now its working!

Hi,

You perfectly right there was a mistake in the tutorial on the GAMA website / tutorial.

I just made correction on the Github wiki, it should take a few time for the website to be updated.
