Hi all,
in using gama-headless package I notice that if I take a snapshot, the display image results to be distorted, just like it could only be possible to have squared snapshots of the monitor.
(in the attached figure 1.png: how it should be, 2.png: how it is in the snapshot)
Is it possible to configure this?

thanks all,
Annalisa

Hi,

I am not expert in the headless part, but how is your snapshot defined ? Do you use the autosave facet on display (not sure it can be defined in the headless experiments) ? Or do you define it using the XML specifications ?

In the first case, you can pass a point to fix the dimensions. In the second case, I dont think you can pass dimensions (500x500 seems to be hardwired). One way you can obtain a non distorted image, if it makes sense in your model, is to define the size of the world’s shape as a square whose side length is the max of the dimensions of the envelope of your GIS data.

Hi Alexis,
thanks for the hints, I will try and come back with the report of my experience. In the meantime (I'm currently here: GRASS code sprint ), due to the fact that GRASS can run in batch too, I wrote a little shell script where files are prepared (to be elaborated into my model) and the script calls gama-headless too and it seems to work well.. so I'm doing some testing :-)

Cheers,
Annalisa
